The Rocksmith Remastered update for MacOS users is now live! Primarily, this update adds 64-bit support for Mac users. If you've bought it in the last 30 days at the higher price they would probably let you do the same buy and return. When they arrived I opened the box, took out the XBox version, put the RMA info in with the PS3 version, sealed the box, put on the Amazon provided prepaid mailing label and dropped it off at a UPS store (I'm a Prime member so I didn't have to pay shipping either way). I ordered the Xbox version for me and the PS3 version for my son. The Amazon rep also immediately reversed the charge on my credit card in anticipation of me sending the item back. My son had already opened the one I gave him but they said that would be no problem.
I called Amazon and while they won't do price match on that item they would let me return it and buy it again for $39. A few days later I was going to buy 2014 for myself and I saw it was $39. I had bought the original for myself then I bought 2014 for my son. Actually, they seem to lower the price every once in a while for a few days.
